Shincheonji Cheon Ahn Church, putting respects into practice 

"My mother likes to walk with her children looking at each other's faces with happy smile. We can't see each other often than before, I like to say to my mother 'I love you.'" Shincheonji Cheon Ahn Church has carried out 'Campaign of faithfullness and respect' at Sinbu Culture Park on 8th of May, Mother's day. Faithfullness and respects is based on kindness, justice, politeness and wiseness.

The person from Shincheonji Cheon Ahn Church said "In the middle of waves of peace dreaming of reunification of the Korean peninsula, May is the month of gratitude reminding of love and kindness of our parents. We've held the campaign of loyalty and filial piety in order to let people know practicing the importance of sincere filial piety which our ancestor had diligently practiced on their own.

There were various event booths displaying 6 kinds of easel exhibition to overview the theme and the story with love and sacrifice by parents starting with 'the method practicing 12 kinds of filial piety. Especially, at photo zone, the theme of 'I'll be devoted child with four virtue which benevolence, righteousness, courtesy and wisdom', the elderly with costume of a royal secret inspector gave the words of blessing awaking the spirit of filial piety. Friends and couples had fun time sending the photo of themselves being filial piety to their parents.

Calligraphy booth, the theme of 'Loving filial piety, thanking filial piety', which had the most attention had the event of making thanking cards which is the only one and decorated with carnation made by themselves. This event  gave the time of writing a letter to their parents. Lee Jin Sol who participated in the event said "It was so touching to look at the art on easel showing desperate love of the parents by their children being embarrassed by their parents to have them alive. I like to make calligraphy card with gratitude which was in my mind but didn't express through the campaign practicing loyalty and filial piety.

Shincheonji Cheon Ahn Church said "Through this campaign, it was joyful to see youngsters gathered together. They had beautiful mind to perform love of family. We wish for them to have meaningful time to show love towards their parents since people feel little awkward to show in our everyday lives.

88% of Participants says "I want to learn more about  Shincheonji Doctrine."

Shincheonji true light church hosted Bible seminar for 2 days on 11th & 12th. In seminar, pastor Go Kyeong Bok were giving a lecture. In this seminar, family and friends of the church members of Shincheonji true light church were invited. The culture and true image of Shincheonji church were introduced. Also, about 80 people who are neighbors in local community and VIPs were invited. Those people had  interests in Shincheonji church.

Pastor Go Kyeong Bok of true light church gave welcoming speech saying "You can see and check how Shincheonji church is worshiping God and what is the doctrine of Shincheonji. Like Matthew 7:21, I'm sure that Shincheonji church is worshiping God just as Bible says. This seminar includes 2 subjects of 'Science asks to God' on 11th and 'The heaven is coming? Or we are going?' on 12th. Each subject explains about relationship between science and Bible and 'Heaven' which stated in Bible. 87.5% of participants said "I like to keep continuing coming to Shincheonji church seminar."

Participants, Oh Min Soo, who came to seminar said "It was a lecture I've wanted to know. I like to know more about the doctrine of Shincheonji church." Another participant, Kim Ju Eun who came to seminar said "The church I'd attended said Shincheonji is cult. But, when I listen to the lecture, Shincheonji was not cult. Shincheonji was the church which is worshiping God as Bible says. I had the answer about Bible that I've had question about. I've realized that I have to see myself to know about truth on anything. I want to study more about Bible in the future."

The person from Shincheonji church said "We prepared this seminar to let people know about various culture of Shincheonji church so that we can introduce how we worship God. We'd like to communicate more with neighbors in local community. We will try more to communicate with neighbors and to let people know the true about Shincheonji church."

The Light of Peace Shines to Europe

The light of peace shines in Europe. In Bible, light is God and God's word. There are people who are chosen by God giving us birth through the word of truth. In this ceremony, there are 487 graduation students who mastered Bible. One of the students had wrongfully accused and persecuted. But she was trying to deliver the truth of Bible and God's word. In the end, her mother became one of the graduation students and her father is studying in advance class. Isn't that great?

Matthew 15:15 says "Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house." This is the reason why God's word is spreading over the world.

2,000 years ago, at the time of the first coming, God dwelt within Jesus, who came in the name of God. The Bible states that seeing Jesus was the same as seeing God(Jn 5:43, 12:44-45, 14:9). This is how we welcomed the messenger of Jesus who is counselor and teacher. Revelation 22:16 says "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."

 Why do we need to study Bible? Why is it so important to get to know the meaning of Bible? Revelation 22:17 says "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." This water is the water of life which is coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 

 Zion Christian Mission Center includes three levels of Bible study. Level I is the True knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven. Level II is overall view of the Bible. And level III is the entire book of revelation. We have to be reborn with God's word and the water of life so that we can become the three of life. This will lead us to enter into the gate of the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

Shincheonji Volunteers, volunteering at 38th day of persons with disabilities in Seoul·South Gyeonggi Province

On 38th the day of persons with disables, Gwang-Ju Federation of Organizations for Differently Abled hosted a commemorative event. At event, Shincheonji volunteers of Seoul·South Gyeonggi branch have volunteered as girl-guiding. Gwang-Ju Federation of Organizations for Differently Abled(Chairman Moon Jong Seok) hosted 2nd festival of persons with disabilities along with 38th the day of persons with disables at Gwang-Ju Chong-Suk Park on 19th of April.

About 800 people participated in this event including Lim Jong Sung  member of the National Assembly, 9 head of the local government of persons with disabilities in Gwang-Ju city, 12 heads of welfare facilities, persons with disabilities, families, volunteers along with Jo Uk Dong Gwang-Ju mayor. The event has started with performance of harmony, hand bell, orchestra and choir of persons with disabilities to celebrate.

At this event, award certificate by Gwang-Ju mayor and National Assembly was given to a role model of good examples of successful rehabilitation and independent along with excellent students with disabilities.

At disabled festival, talent show of persons with disabilities, singing contest of persons with disabilities and invited singer who was Kim Jung Min and Dandelion, etc. was performed.

Volunteers in Chung Ju

Seoul·South Gyeonggi  branch of Shincheonji Volunteers performed volunteering on guiding service for people who is getting awards and valet parking.  Around 50 participants have volunteered. One of the participants delivered thanks saying "I wasn't able to transfer easily because of my legs. But, it was so helpful this time. Shincheonji Volunteers was so kind and helpful for me to get here."

The person whom is concerned from Shincheonji volunteers of Seoul·South Gyeonggi branch said "We were able to participate in commemorative event by request of Gwang-Ju Federation of Organizations. It was glad for us to provide volunteer service. We will keep up providing services anywhere where needs our help ."

Also, Shincheonji volunteers are providing various volunteer services for local community to grow. Volunteer services includes delivering lunch box, providing side dishes for elderly, cleaning the streets and providing medical checks for foreigners.
