Protestant Gospel is more powerful than politics in Korea

If you see Christmas tree and wooden archway covered in Bible quotation in front of building, you would guess the building is related to Christianity. When you see the Church of Love in Seoul located in Gangnam area, you would make a mistake thinking of the church as a shopping mall without those archways covered in Bible quotation. 

When you look into the building, there is a sky-bridge connecting two buildings of megachurch. Inside and outside the church, church is decorated with polished stone and walls, abstract art and neon signs. When you go down to the first basement floor, there are 9,000 seats. And these seats are packed on Sundays. 

The odd thing is the church has no legal right to much of this space. It's proven by the government of Seocho district. The reason is that the church abused its power by leasing land to extend its below-ground footprint. In order to do so, senior politicians lobbied for the lease to be granted. And it was approved in 2010 when former president Lee Myung Bak is holding the reins of government. For reference, former president Lee Myung Bak is in jail for corruption. Former president Lee Myung Bak is also Protestant. And there are lots of politicians who is Protestant. This is the reason why religion and politics are not separated in Korea unfortunately. 

Since the church of Love is not using below-ground area properly, the church may have to spend tens of millions of dollars to demolish it. But, as many believe, they may find a way to avoid it. In Korea, there are annoying issue going on now regarding pastor Jeon Gwang-hoon and politics. Under the law in Korea, religion and politics must be separated. And, it should be conducted.

Korea is going through religious and political chaos by CCK chairperson

Pastor Jeon is 63-year-old who is serving Presbyterian Church in Korea and became hot issue in Korean news recently. He is the leader of church called 'Saran Jeil church' in Seoul, Korea. Even on 11th of Nov. 2019, York Times published on article titled, "The Populist Pastor Leading a Conservative Revival in South Korea".

However, odd thing is he dragged crowds to his rally requesting Cho Kuk one of the politician stepping down from his position and resignation of Mr. President insisting 'This is an order from the Lord." Also, he is making ludicrous statements saying "President Moon is a spy of North Korea." Despite of his bizarre claims, his strategy makes him a force which cannot be ignored. 

In Jan. 2019, pastor Jeon was elected as chairperson of Christian Council of Korea (CCK). CCK consists of 61 denominations and 20 Christian organizations. This is the reason why Christians especially conservative Christian groups are compelled to be influenced by it. 

From October, investigation of pastor Jeon has started based on charges of inciting insurrection. He attempted to invade the Blue House convincing members to form a group. Attempting to invade the Blue House is an act of rebellion. 

The problem is pastor Jeon is hosting the anti-government rallies and growing in popularity. Even he held a protest rally in front of the Blue House and made extreme statements. One statement was he claimed that "President Moon has already been disposed by God. The Republic of Korea will revolve around Pastor Jeon Gwang-Hoon for the next ten years." Another controversial statement was "God, freeze! If God messes with me, he's dead. This is how close I am with God." What do you as a believer think of him saying?

In Korea, there is a law regarding religion and politics. The law says 'religion and politics must be separated.' However, pastor Jeon is interfering in politics insisting 'Impeachment of President Moon'. By that, pastor Jeon is drawing criticism from fellow Protestant leaders. But the problem is he is using Christianity for his own purpose. Blind obedience has been problem in all times. This is time believers should become smarter and think what's right and should do. 

He is now imprisoned. I hope righteousness is conducted and people choose right decision.

[Statement] The Bible, which is the Word of God, cannot be broken.

God prophesied in Jeremiah 31:27-31 that He would make a new covenant and sow two kinds of seed. After this, God came to Jesus, the promised pastor (Ez 3), who sowed the two kinds of seed (Mt 13:24-30) and also said He would return to harvest.

The two kinds of seed are as follows; one is God’s seed and the other is the devil’s seed (refer to Mt 13:15-39). These two seeds were sown into one field (Jesus’ churches) and they grew together until harvest time (Rv 14:14-20) when they are distinguishable.

Since God is with those who are born of God’s seed (Jn 1:32, Rv 3:12), they act in accordance with God’s will, but the devil is with those who are born of the devil’s seed (Rv 13) and they follow the will of the devil. Do you not see and hear?

In all six thousand years of God’s history in the sixty-six books of the Bible, the only entity that opposed God was the devil. The world has heard all this (refer to the contents below). Why is the Christian Broadcasting Station (CBS), a religious broadcasting station belonging to the Christian Council of Korea, keeping their mouths shut? Have their lips disappeared? Were they not broadcasting the devil’s contents and lies? Who is truly anti-nation, anti-society, and anti-religion? Were these people not those who had bowed down to and worshiped a Japanese god?

It has come to the public’s attention that Gwang-hoon Jeon, the chairperson and representative of the Christian Council of Korea, stated, “The Republic of Korea will revolve around Pastor Gwang-hoon Jeon for the next 10 years. God, freeze! If you mess with me God, you’re dead. This is how close I (Jeon) am with God. If God messes with me, Gwang-hoon Jeon is going to kill you.”

God is due the utmost respect of all peoples of all nations. What will people say about Korea when they hear this? They will all agree that such is of the devil.

They once bowed down and worshiped a Japanese god and now they’ve become a big tree from a small seed (refer to Mt 13:31-32). The chairperson of the CCK is the trunk of this tree and its branches, leaves, and fruit receive the sap from the tree’s trunk and roots making them the same in the source of their ideology and their spirit. Isn’t this the physical fulfillment of one of the two kinds of seed in the New Testament, the physical fulfillment of one born of the devil’s seed?

The CCK is an organization that stands in opposition to God so it must close down. Everyone who reached out to them to gain political power must also be removed from their positions of political authority.

What was seen in vision was what God prophesied in the Old Testament; the creation of the new thing, the two kinds of seed, and the physical fulfillment of the new covenant (Jer 31). This is why Jesus said in John 14:29, “I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.” He also said that Scripture cannot be broken (refer to Jn 10:35-39).

Jesus asked, “When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” (Lu 18:8).
Believers, do you truly believe in God, Jesus, and their words?

What we must know is the true God, the true Jesus, and their words.
Contrary to this, there is the devil, those born of the devil’s seed, and the pastors who lie and do evil deeds.

Should they persist in lying, persecuting, cursing, and sinning like the devil and his pastors? They bowed down to and worshiped a Japanese god, the CCK pastors have added and taken away from the book of Revelation. They have been charged with 12,000 counts of crime in the last 10 years.  How can they consider themselves “orthodox” if they have committed acts which are anti-nation, anti-society, and anti-religion? These pastors are blaming their wrongs on Shincheonji just like the religious leaders of Jerusalem long ago. Can they deny that they are an organization of the devil?

If such is not an organization of the devil, then what is? Is this the tree of life or the tree of good and evil? Isn’t this deserving of death?

What is worse is that the coercive conversion pastors conduct murderous and forced conversions as a means to make money. CCK’s pastors and congregation, do you have anything more to say in light of this? What have you to boast about? The whole world denounces these atrocious acts.

God gives the tree of life, its leaves, and its fruit in Revelation 22 to give life to the believers today.  He also fulfilled the book of Revelation, which makes all this known, and commanded us to not add or take away from it.  Why don’t you keep the Word? Is being born of the devil’s seed what is right and something to boast about?

Have you not heard the words of Gwang-hoon Jeon? Are you not of the same tree as he? Please answer in accordance with the words of the New Testament of the Bible. I am speaking for Shincheonji Church of Jesus. Why won’t you come and listen to us when this is where truth and life is? Why won’t you come and listen when this is where God, Jesus, the kingdom of Heaven and the angels are? Is it because you believe and follow someone like Gwang-hoon Jeon who opposes God?

The reason for Jesus’ return (Lu 18:8) is to fulfill our hope. Why won’t you listen? Come and check for yourselves regardless whether you hate or like us. We are the hands and feet of Jesus, his mouthpiece that speaks on His behalf (refer to Rv 5:9-10).

At inauguration ceremony of conservative associations, Jeon Gwang-hoon made a Controversy Statement saying "I've received the voice of God that Korea will be destroyed." receiving public backlash.

There was an opening ceremony which was organized by conservative politicians such as Lee Jae Oh. At ceremony, Jeon Gwang-hoon took out fundraising subject.

Pastor Jeon said "At rally, people take out their money and put it in my pocket after the lecture. Have you seen this kind of rally?" Maybe, he wanted to be seen as it was voluntarily donation rather than collection.

He also insisted that he took in charge of a chairperson of CCK because he heard God's voice.

Pastor Jeon insisted he heard a voice from God that Korea would be destroyed. When people complain hard, he browbeat the audience saying "I'm talking about my experience. Stay still.". The audience spoke out loud saying "Religion and Politics should be separated under the law." Pastor Jeon fought back saying "Get out, get out, you~ get out."

In this remark, Korea is currently having a noisy time. What do you think about religious people doing politics?

Voice raised in 'Eliminating Coercive Conversion Program'

Scholars from overseas sent a warning message raising their voices regarding 'Coercive Conversion Program' which shows an act of intolerance and discrimination performed by pre-existing denominations in order to ostracize against the new religions. In the seminar, it was also advised that more voices of the international community such as NGOs of international organizations and international media is necessary in order to take measure and punishment against 'Coercive Conversion Program'.  

On 29th, HRWF (Human Rights Without Frontiers) and CESNUR (the Center for Studies on New Religions) hold academic seminar titled 'Intolerance and discrimination against new religious movements: an international problem at Audio-Visual Room of Seoul Women's Family Foundation. In the seminar, future directions to correspond were given examining various controversies and outcome regarding anti-cult movement to brainwashing which was performed by pre-existing denominations against new religion. 

◆ Italy, Massimo Itrovigne "Elimination of Coercive Conversion Program"

Massimo Itrovigne representative who is the founder of CESNUR and a sociologist in Italy started to bring a topic of 'Coercive Conversion Program' addressing from foundation to the current situation of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle (Shincheonji church) which is severely being persecuted among new religions. Shincheonji church became a main target of coercive conversion program alongside ostracism‧slender given by pre-existing denominations in South Korea. Massimo already recognized the seriousness of coercive conversion program and in this regard he submitted a report  to UN regarding human rights to call for the elimination of coercive conversion program. 

According to the total counted by Shincheonji church, damages caused by coercive conversion program so far were 2 deaths, 682 sleeping pills, 861 assaults, 1221 confinement, 1293 forced signature which is forcibly made due to coercive conversion program, 1338 forcibly leave of absence from school and work, 1280 threats and swearing, 43 divorce and 1 family death. Also, the number of victims identified to date is 1507.

◆ The United Kingdom, Eileen Barker "Insisting brainwashing theory is wrong."

Eileen Barker who is emeritus professor of Religious Sociology at London School of Economics, UK presented the results of experiment sample which is researched by herself regarding 'brainwashing' which is mentioned as the material of criticism  when pre-existing denominations shun the new religion. 

Professor Eileen selected a sample group to verify the theory of brainwashing through a workshop. The specific religion that was accused of brainwashing became the subject of the experiment. 

Professor Eileen conducted a workshop on 1,000 people who are interested in religion and analyzed the results. Surprisingly, 90% of the participants at workshop did not become members of this particular religion. Most of these participants left a choice to decide within two years.

As a result of 40-50 years of analysis, 90% of second generations born of first generation of this particular religion have left this religion. Professor Eileen asserted that "The statistical results concluded that the technique of this religion is neither irresistible nor irrevocable. The hypothesis of becoming a member of this religion through brainwashing is wrong.". Hypothesis was set to conduct the research as members of that religion may have had a low level of intellect in the past and had a underprivileged childhood or had a history of maladjustment at school, this hypothesis was concluded to be incorrect. 

On the other hand, she analyzed that "I found out that this religion provided what neophytes wanted and hoped. Otherwise, they would have left by themselves."

◆ The United States, Gordon Melton "Anti-cult organization, already dissolved in the United States"

Gordon Melton who is a professor at Baylor University in the United States pointed out prevalence and collapse of anti-cult movement which was prevailed in the United States from 1975 to 1995. The anti-cult movement is a dark history in religion in the United States which engaged in conducting coercive conversion program thinking of other denomination as pseudo and heresy.".

Professor Gordon said "The heresy war which was conducted in the United States from 1975 to 1995 ended with the dissolution of 'Cult Awareness Network (CAN)'. The sister organization of CAN, American Family Foundation (name was changed to International Cult Studies Association) is still operating. After dismantling CAN, most of anti-cult activists in the United States have ended up having only argument in the media." 

He estimated that "Coercive conversion program has been disappeared. The matter of heresy is no longer the subject of legal action, but is dealt with in cases involving divorce and child abuse. The power of oppose dissemination and activities of new religion in North America has declined considerably although anti-cult organizations and 'cult' experts will persist for a while. 

◆ Lithuania Rosita soryte “Religious Persecution, External factors matter”

Rosita soryte who is the president of 'International Observatory of Religious Liberty of Refugees' and served Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Lithuania) diagnosed that persecution of religion is not only caused by religious causes mentioning the case of Russian Orthodox Church. 

He emphasized "If you analyze political, economical and social situation related to religious persecution, you will find out other reasons rather than religious persecution itself in almost every situation.".

He also said "Since the reasons for religious persecution vary from country to country. According to local situation and characteristics, intrigue appear differently justifying suppression, patterns and persecution.".

He gave an example of Russian Orthodox Church pointing out the matter of national security rather than the matter of religion and affirmed "Russia has religion but not freedom of religion."

◆ The United States, Holly Folk “Justifying persecution is false information.”

Professor Holly Folk of Western Washington University, Liberal Studies Department published a study on the theme of groundless criticism against new religions which was titled 'Systematic Disinformation Campaigns'. 

The research conducted by Professor Holly was mainly based on a case of a new religion spread in China. For example, the cases include five particular religious believers set fire to their own bodies at the the Tiananmen Square in 2001, 22 children and an adult woman were attacked by Yan outside a school, Xiaobin was kidnapped by Jang and became blind at the scene, murder case at McDonald and the case of family suicide at Shenzhen city. 

Professor Holly pointed out a common feature such as ▲ anti-group propaganda ▲ creating fear for the public ▲ legitimate media censorship and information control ▲ control of the media and academic survey and ▲ applying to asylum seeker. 

He emphasized on these information saying "Justifying persecution is intentional and disinformation which is supported by country. This is a part of pattern aimed at Western media and scholars. There is great reason to doubt and there is no reason to believe any issue regarding any suspicion.".

◆ Belgium Willy Fautr “Improvement of awareness utilizing international society mechanisms"

Willy Fautr who is a representative of human rights without borders proposed the way how new religions should act upon coercive conversion program taken place. Representative Willy suggested two ways to try in South Korea saying "In Europe, this issue can be solved through the European Court of Human Rights."

"First of all, It is necessary to spread awareness to coercive conversion program actively improving overall public opinion in Korea through the media.."

"The next is to use the United Nations as the mechanisms of international society. Each country must submit a report on human rights to the United Nations. The fact that human rights are violated in South Korea is needed to be reported."

Representative Willy said "If we try in this direction, we can punish those who are involved in coercive conversion program and oppose to punishment so that the change may occur in religion.".

On that day, as a case of damage caused by coercive conversion program, the story of Toru Koto of the Unification Church,  Un Byung Hoon and  Lim Young Sik of Shincheonji church were introduced.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle (Chairman #ManHeeLee, hereafter referred to as #Shincheonji_church) held 12 tribes Bible Seminar all over the country to preach the gospel.

Thaddeus tribe based in Daegu and Gyeongbuk opened their district churches to broadcast on live simultaneously such as Pohang, Gumi, Gyeongju and Andong which is located near Daegu main temple. Despite the strong conservative Christianity is appeared in this region, more than 1,500 Christians and non-Christians showed extraordinary interest in the word of Shincheonji theology.

Je Seul Gi who gave a lecturer on that day explained the nature of faith through the theme of 'the covenant and the new covenant'.

He also emphasized "the blood of Jesus takes effect when the book of Revelation in the New Testament promised by Jesus is fulfilled. And he explained about prophecy saying "He makes us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God. The kingdom of God  as prophesized is 12 tribes in Rev 7 and is accomplished through the messenger who is sent by Jesus and who overcomes."

He strongly stated that "Shincheonji church has promised pastor who is prophesized in the New Testament and testifies the words that have not been heard so far. This is the reason why 100,000 people gathered at Shincheonji graduation ceremony recently. Isn't it strange to see people who thinks this phenomenon is strange? Do not practice faith outside the Bible. Let's be a believer according to the Bible taking off misunderstandings and prejudices."

Lee Ki Young who had faith in Catholic for 10 years decided to enroll followed-up program saying "I came here through a street stall that I saw yesterday. I was so impressed with the words 'You must know the new covenant.'. I want to be a believer who seeks God in the scripture rather than seeking a way only for my convenience.".

The official of Shincheonji church said "Many pastors and Christians attended the #BibleSeminar lectured by Chairman #ManHeeLee which was held in 6 cities  throughout South Korea and confirmed the true value of revealed words. You shouldn't miss the chance in God's history which happened for the first time in 6,000 years of the Bible history and which is testified by 5w and 1h regarding prophecies and fulfillment of Revelation.".

Meanwhile, Shincheonji church received extraordinary attention during the month of October through 'Open Bible Seminar on the Second Coming and Harvest' which was directly lectured by Chairman #Manheelee. Also, on 10th of November, Shincheonji church showed the power of God's salvation and the world was startled to see 103,764 congregation members produced within 10 months and '100,000 Graduation Ceremony' held. 

After the Bible seminar held nationally, the Bible seminar of 12 tribes will be held nationwide from 15th to the end of this month at 12 headquarters of 12 tribes and 60 district churches responding to inquiries to #ShincheonjiChurch.

On 4th of November, 'Open Bible Seminar on the Second Coming and Harvest' was started in Seoul and we had last seminar on 19th of November in Jeju. Did you expect Jeju is excluded from Open Bible Seminar? Oh~~ no, no...

Last day of 'Open Bible Seminar on the Second Coming and Harvest' lectured by Chairman Man Hee Lee was held in Jeju. After direct lecture by Chairman Man Hee Lee, there were 'Open Bible Seminar of the 12 tribes of Shincheonji.'. Subsequently, open Bible seminar will be held in each local churches.  

On 10th of November, there was '100,000 Graduation Ceremony of the 12 Tribes of Shincheonji' and 100,000 new congregation members entered completing 6 month Bible course through 'Zion Christian Mission Center'. '100,000 Graduation Ceremony of the 12 Tribes of Shincheonji' was the festival of graduates from 113 countries around the world. This proves there are so many people who want to learn the word of God. This phenomenon would not be by human looking at the fact that 103,764 people were harvested and sealed during January to October in 2019 which is in just 10 months.

As you know, pre-existing denominations made false news and slander to made people to believe that Shincheonji church is cult. However, as you can see from the sermon, Shincheonji church only teaches the Bible and testifies the Bible according to 5w and 1h. Therefore, it is natural for those who are thirsty comes to Shincheonji church.

On the other hand, the Christian Council of Korea due to all kinds of corruption, the number of members of the Christian Council of Korea are decreasing rapidly. New heaven and new earth created by God teaches only the truth. All kinds of corruption committed by the Christian Council of Korea is countless and lists are below: 12,000 pastors who was convicted during 10 years, 200 lies proven by '200 Comparison of Doctrines', bribing voters surrounded by president election, coercive conversion program which involves confinement, kidnap, assault resulting in murder, collusiveness of religion and politics, and shrine worship. Do you think God is in such places? It's time to choose. Galatians says 'Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.'

The day I finally waited for has arrived. Today is the day of '100,000 Graduation Ceremony of the 12 Tribes of Shincheonji'. Those who have heard that Shincheonji Jesus Church is planning to produce 100,000 graduates earlier this year may not have believed. The incident which is over 100,000 people entering one denomination has ever happened before anywhere in the world. However, the reason why people gather is because this is God's work accomplishing God's promise. 

In order to enter Shincheonji church, you have to complete 6 month Bible course at Zion Christian Mission center which is operated by Shincheonji church. As the days go by, people who don't have belief are increasing in the percentage of students who register at Zion Christian Mission center. The reason why believers including Catholics, Protestants and Buddhism and non-believers are gathered in Shincheonji church is because people recognize the word of truth which is witnessed by 5w and 1h. Shincheonji church is testifying 66 Bibles from Genesis to Revelation including prophecy, fulfillment and the fulfilled reality.

The reason for his explosive increase is that the distorted slanders which have been overlaid on Shincheonji church have been found to be false through articles in major journals. Another reason is that it has been known that CCK is committing coercive religious conversion including kidnapping, confinement and assaulting. And now, UN is calling for the closure of CCK.

This year alone, more than 380,000 people came to Shincheonji church to take the Bible course. Among 380,000, only 100,000 who complete the course are grading today. So, we are expecting more number of graduates next year. These 100,000 graduates are people who recognized the word of truth of Shincheonji church. Also, 380,000 people gathered this year are acknowledging that true word, true shepherds and God are in Shincheonji church and learning the word of God. So we can call Shincheonji church is more than popular. right?

The graduates today is from 112 nations and number of graduates are 103,764. Shincheonji church grew from 59,055 in 2008 to 236,017 in 2019. This growth is 4 times in 10 years which is 300% growth. There are many people who don't attend church regularly in many other churches. However, the attendance rate of Shincheonji church is 99.1% in average including Wednesday worship. Also, 380,00 people who is attending Zion Christian Mission center is 4.5 times and 350% growth compared to 5 years ago. Isn't that amazing? 

In addition, there were 'Open Bible Seminar on the Second Coming and Harvest' by promised pastor Man Hee Lee of Shincheonji church starting from Seoul on 4th of October.
