Shincheonji who provided plasma of a total of 1,600 congregants to the quarantine authorities in the first and second rounds held online prayer meeting by all congregants of 12tribes.

According to Shincheonji, online prayer meeting by all congregants of 12tribes was proceeded on the proposal of Chairman Man Hee Lee. 

At noon on the day, 'online prayer meeting to overcome Corona 19' was held non-face-to-face where all congregants stays at their own place praying to God at home and abroad of 12 tribes. Currently, Shincheonji church is conducting a non-face-to-face online worship service since Feb. 18th which had31st confirmed patient.

At this online prayer meeting a large number of religious people attended according to suggestion by Shincheonji that everyone can join with one heart if you are a religious person who shares same will.

Kim Eun Hye who participated in the prayer meeting said "We couldn't gather in person and had a online prayer meeting, but my heart became hot. I hope that the corona will end soon and no one will suffer from corona any more."

Shincheonji explained saying the prayer meeting has meaning that let's overcome the crisis by transcending each denomination and religion by taking the lead in a disaster situation praying the virus will disappear in the global village and in each country when facing a crisis due to the Corona 19 pandemic.

The recent move of Shincheonji is like a 'reverse drama' when looking at plasma donation followed by a proposal to join religious persons to overcome Corona 19. When the 31st confirmed in Daegu last Feb. was revealed as a congregant of Shincheonji, thousands of more confirmed cases were revealed and became criticized for a while. However, it is taking a self-help role in the development of plasma treatment. In response to an urgent request from the quarantine authorities to participate in plasma donation due to the lack of plasma donors, Shincheonji has provided plasma for the participation of over 1,600 congregants of Daegu church in the first and second rounds.

The members of Shincheonji Daegu church who were cured after suffering from a coronavirus infection are donating plasm for the second time.

Shincheonji announced on 23rd of Aug. "As Corona 19 spreads again, secondary group plasma donation proceeds as the demand for faster treatment development."

Earlier, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently sent an official letter to Shincheonji asking for active cooperation saying "Currently, the outbreak of Corona 19 at home and abroad is increasing again. Through group plasma donation, there is a demand for more rapid development of medicine. So, we like to ask you to recruit plasma through your organization."

This plasma donation will continue for one week at the Daegu Athletics Promotion Center from the 17th of Aug. to the 4th of Sep. The number of members participating in plasma donation is 1160.

At Shincheonji Daegu church, it is reported that about 4,000 people were cured after being infected with Corona 19. 

The plasma of congregants is used to develop a blood plasma treatment for Corona 19. In a situation where it is difficult to obtain plasma donors, it is expected that the development of Corona 19 treatments will accelerate as group of Shincheonji congregants start to donate plasma.

Shincheonji Daegu church said on the interview "As in the first donation, it was made with the pure hearts of congregants. There is no other meaning such as changing the image."
