[100,000 Graduation Ceremony] Korean pastor who graduated said “Let’s sign an MOU with Shincheonji that masters the Book of Revelation”

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Chairman Man Hee Lee) held its first face-to-face graduation ceremony after the COVID-19 pandemic on the 20th and produced 106,186 graduates. For the 113th graduates, the ratio of pastors increased compared to the previous graduation ceremony. A total of 522 pastors, 37 in Korea and 485 overseas, completed the course. This background is closely related to the creation of an online course environment due to COVID-19. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Shincheonji Church of Jesus released elementary and intermediate education courses, including the Book of Revelation (advanced school), through YouTube. As an environment was created in which students could attend lectures without being conscious of others, the number of pastors and seminary students increased rapidly.

Heo Jeong-wook, who gave his graduation speech on the same day, is also an incumbent pastor in the second generation. After 20 years of ministry, he said, “I only learned traditional theology at seminary, but I didn’t know much about the Book of Revelation. I have been teaching only the words that are easy to convey to the saints, excluding difficult words. I repent that I was a sinner who added to or subtracted from the word of God. I put down everything I had and came forward to the truth. I learned the real theology that leads to heaven, not men's studies, and completed my course. In my ministry, I have seen many aspects of the religious world. While feeling bitter about the corruption and illegality that is prevalent in Korean Protestantism, on the other hand, I closed my eyes as if it were someone else's business. After living as a blind pastor for 20 years, something happened that opened my eyes. I met the word of Shincheonji, the greatest truth of mankind! I am truly grateful to God for giving me another chance to live again, who was the blind among the blind who led the saints into the pit because I did not even properly understand John 1:1!

I would like to take this opportunity to say a word to the pastors. Pastors, what do we really need to teach the saints? The church on earth does not have the prophecies or reality of the new covenant that we must know about in this era. There is no word of God's eternal life to feed the saints! Where will the saints who do not understand and have nothing to eat go? The saints who left church are flocking to Shincheonji! We must admit that only Shincheonji, which testifies the events of betrayal, destruction, and salvation, is the only place of salvation where God is with! Let's sign an MOU with Shincheonji, which masters the Book of Revelation which is the New Covenant, and become one!

The saints who left the church because there is no truth came right here! I presume that the 106,186 graduates gathered here who were harvested with the seed of God, at least evangelized one person, so can you imagine how many more will complete the course next year? D. Jackson, the representative of overseas graduates, is also a pastor in India. In October of last year, after taking Shincheonji Church of Jesus' online Bible class, he signed an MOU and changed the name of the theological college he was operating to 'Hepto Zion Christian Mission Center'. Currently, 294 people, including pastors in charge of two churches belonging to this denomination, have completed all courses at the Zion Christian Mission Center, and are listed as the 113th graduates. There are currently more than 1,000 churches and pastors that have signed MOUs with Shincheonji Church of Jesus like Mr. D. Jackson. 

The following is the full text of Mr. D. Jackson's graduation speech distributed at the graduation ceremony.

I am Pastor D. Jackson, who runs Hepto Theological Seminary. I have been leading the denomination and working as a seminary lecturer, but I could not been able to understand the true meaning of the Book of Revelation. One day while searching for answers in the Book of Revelation and the Bible, I came across Shincheonji's Revelation by God's grace! I felt indescribably grateful that chairman of Shincheonji Church of Jesus was chosen by Jesus to receive the words of revelation, he was the one who saw and heard all the events when Jesus fulfilled the Book of Revelation, and he is telling the world what he saw and heard.

I immediately started evangelism to spread the 'secret of heaven of the last trumpet' of the Book of Revelation. In November 2021, I signed a MOU with Shincheonji Church of Jesus, and introduced this word to church saints, fellow pastors, and friends. And on May 22, 2022, the name of the seminary I had been running was changed to 'Hepto Zion Christian Mission Center' and I am preaching this word to people in various regions. Currently, 294 members of the heavenly family were born by evangelizing all the members, including the senior pastors of the two branch churches, and we are working hard to evangelize 1,000 people to begin classes.

We want to evangelize countless people around the world with the revealed words of Shincheonji. And I promise to work with the chairman, the Promised Shepherd, who is work for God's purpose, the completion of global peace, and healing all nations!

Currently, not only India, but also 24,000 people in Asia, 6,400 people in Africa, 5,300 people in America, and 42,000 people including Europe, Oceania, and the Middle East have become God's family and are being reborn through the revealed words of Shincheonji. Shincheonji Church of Jesus, which surprised the religious community at home and abroad by producing 100,000 graduates in 2019, once again presented a remarkable record amid the unfavorable factor of COVID-19.

The Zion Christian Mission Center, a bible education institution of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, held the 113th Zion Christian Mission Center graduation ceremony at Daegu Stadium on the 20th. A total of 106,186 graduates graduated this day. And it is large scales in the word making it the world's largest scale as a theological education institution.

On this day, the number of people participating in the graduation ceremony in Korea was limited to 80,000 for safety and over 300,000 people participate in the graduation ceremony both online and offline by streaming it on YouTube globally in 9 languages.

The graduation ceremony on this day was prepared thoroughly for safety accidents as there is a high concern about safety issues recently. The Shincheonji Church of Jesus said "Above all, in order to hold the graduation ceremony safely, we thought of safety as the top priority. We checked quarantine, safety, transportation and order several times in advance establishing a cooperative network to prepare for safety accidents with local governments. We operated a monitoring room with police, fire department, Daegu City and Suseong-gu Office safety-related personnel at the site."

In addition, they said “The church itself deployed a total of 14,000 security guards to maintain order inside and outside the venue, and had people enter and exit over 4 hours to prevent crowds, about 180 medical staff and 4 ambulances were on a constant alert in case of an accident. Emergency rescue training was conducted for all safety personnel, and all trainees also watched the emergency rescue video. This graduation ceremony emphasized the fact that safety was especially well taken care of.”

The event consisted of an opening ceremony in part 1 and a closing ceremony in part 2. Part 1 begins with a praise service, followed by a congratulatory message, an opening prayer, and a commemorative speech by Chairman Man Hee Lee. The second part proceeded with a congratulatory performance, congratulatory speech by Tan Young-jin, head director of the Zion Christian Mission Center, awarding certificates, moving tassel of graduation hat, giving award, announcement of appreciation letter of graduates and special performance followed by broadcasting graduation ceremony abroad.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Shincheonji Church of Jesus released its elementary and intermediate classes, as well as the Book of Revelation (advanced class), on YouTube. As an environment was created in which students could attend lectures without being conscious of the gaze of others, the number of pastors and seminary students increased rapidly. The two representatives of the graduates presenting their graduation speeches on this day were also pastors.

Meanwhile, Shincheonji Church of Jesus held its first large-scale face-to-face event in Daegu after the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on contributing to the revitalization of the local economy and coexisting with local residents. They tried to be of practical help to local residents by making all possible consumption activities, such as transportation for 100,000 people, staff accommodations, and meals.
