[Shincheonji Bible Seminar] Betrayer, Destroyer, and Savior_Daegu
"If this book of Revelation is fulfilled, there must be its realities. When you really fulfill something, you have to have its realities, not just words. It is the most important thing."
Chairman Man Hee Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony emphasized at the Bible Seminar under the theme of 'Betrayer, Destroyer, and Savior'. This seminar was held on 15th in Daegu and pastors including evangelists and seminary students were invited. Chairman Lee explained 'Betrayer, Destroyer, and Savior' which is the flow of fulfillment that the events of Revelation is fulfilled and testified its realities of betrayer, destroyer and savior. In addition, chairman Lee emphasized that "The book of Revelation has been fulfilled up to chapter 17. The fulfillment of Revelation has reached the end."
The seminar which is held in Daegu is the 3rd seminar, following Seoul and Daejeon and public interest was overwhelming. A long line was formed at the entrance, trying to enter even before the event and the site was full of attendees who came to hear the words. Due to the lack of seats, dozens of people listened to the seminar standing without seats. On that day, about 2,000 people including 100 pastors attended the seminar. Considering that there are Sunday services, you can see how much interest is high regarding the words of revelation that Chairman Lee testifies.
◆“To be saved, you have to belong to the 12 tribes”
“In Rev. 22:16, 22:8, there is one person who saw it all. Jesus commanded him to go to the churches and testify everything that he saw and heard. So, that person has to testify with it.”
Chairman Lee testified the flow how they appeared as prophesied under the theme of ‘betrayal, destroyer and savior’ which is three key secrets of the book of Revelation. However, he did not mention their real name due to concerns about defamation.
He also said “There are many pastors in this global village. However, if you ask the pastors if they know the book of Revelation, no one will answer. If you don’t know, you can come and listen. You will find out the answer when you ask the person who received and ate the book of Revelation. I received and ate the book. So, now that book is in my stomach.”
Chairman Lee explained that Shincheonji is the family of God’s kingdom that belongs to the 12 tribes as promised in the Bible. He asked pastors what tribe they belong to. Chairman Lee said “At the time of fulfillment of Revelation, there should be one of 12 tribes. The people of Shincheonji have 12 tribes. There are more than 12,000 people and even a great multitude in white being created. You need to be a part of a great multitude in white to be saved.”
◆“Chairman Lee masters the book of Revelation... Everything is right”
Pastor Park has been in the ministry for 40 years, having difficulty interpreting the book of Revelation. Mr. Park felt amazed and said “It was difficult to preach with the Revelation. But, chairman Lee knew everything about the book of Revelation and gave a clear explanation about the book of Revelation.”
Mr. Park said “There is no atmosphere for pastors to open their minds and talk in words yet. It’s like talking to the wall. It’s hard to communicate. To understand each other’s religion, I think it’s important to open up and have a conversation in depth. I hope that there will be a place where all the denominations can gather together and discuss the words.
Pastor Kim who has been pastor for 30 years said “Existing denominations think they are the only ones right. But, the important thing is whether the words are right or wrong in the Bible. Listening to the book of Revelation explained by Shincheonji, each and every one of them was right. It was right that Revelation is fulfilled up to chapter 17. It’s great that 12 tribes (God’s new kingdom and new nation) have been created according to the Bible. It’s written in the Bible. So, we should check.”
◆ A total of 5,600 people attended the sites of Seoul, Daejeon and Daegu
The seminars, lectured by Chairman Lee were held in Seoul on the 7th, Daejeon on the 11th, Busan on the 18th, and Gwangju on the 21st. 1,600 including 450 pastors attended the seminar held in Seoul. And, 2,000 people including 200 pastors attended the Daejeon seminar. Pastors who attended the seminar looked back at their ministering and said “We should study again based on the revealed words that are testified in Shincheonji.”
The Korean churches shrink and decline day by day. But, unlike the Korean churches, the number of Shincheonji members exceeded 310,000. As of the end of September, 350 churches in Korea and 8,555 churches in 80 countries abroad have signed MOUs with the Shincheonji Church of Jesus. Among 1,500 pastors in Korea who attended the seminar, 282 pastors are taking classes at the Zion Christian Mission Center. In addition, 5,029 pastors abroad are taking classes.
