Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus)'s '2024 Bible Seminar by Continent' began in the Philippines on the 20th. The Bible Seminar was prepared to share everything about the fulfillment of the Book of Revelation, the last prophecy of the New Testament with not only the Korean church but also the church in the world at the time of the Lord's Second Coming which is today.  

Chairman Man Hee Lee, who gave a lecturer, explained the overall contents of the entitle Bible and the significance of the fulfillment of the Book of Revelation in today's religious field and asked people to check the reality of its fulfillment. He also pointed out ways to achieve world peace. The response of religious leaders including Filipino Catholics, Protestants, Muslims, and Hindus, as well as journalists and youth was hot. 

This part showed that although there is great interest in ‘peace’, there are many religious people who agonize because they do not know how to act. Many religious leaders who had many thoughts found answers through this Bible Seminar. We can better understand this reality by listening to the impressions of those who attended the Bible Seminar. 

 A Protestant pastor who attended the event said, “At this Bible Seminar, I saw and heard the reality of the Book of Revelation. I will never forget today. I am happy and surprised that such diverse religious leaders gathered to attend an event without friction for the first time.”

Former Archbishop of Cagayan de Oro, Antonio Ledesma, said, “What Chairman Lee said about the Book of Revelation is valuable to all of us, whether Christians or Muslims.” 

A Filipino high school student said, “Chairman Lee’s lecture deeply inspired me. That is the importance of understanding the Book of Revelation. It is because understanding the Book of Revelation allows us to act according to the will of heaven. It helps spread peace and respect other cultures.” 

The head of a Philippine Christian organization also said, “Believing in the fulfillment of the Book of Revelation is up to each person’s choice, but I believe it. The Book of Revelation is something that we must study and focus on as believers, and it is very important.”

There was also an assessment that this Bible Seminar was timely. A Filipino journalist who said that he is a Catholic but lives an interreligious life, including marrying a Muslim, and pursues interreligious dialogue, said, “Awareness of the Second Coming is taboo in many churches (in the Philippines). We only talk about the New Testament every Sunday. No one mentions the Book of Revelation. It is time for other religions to also talk about the Book of Revelation.”

 

On this day, five religious leaders, including Christians, Muslims, and Hindus, signed a 'joint solidarity agreement' with Shincheonji Church of Jesus. The main goal of the agreement is to stop conflict and persecution among religions and achieve peace based on scriptures.

 

Meanwhile, this '2024 Shincheonji Bible Seminar by Continent' was prepared as last year's Bible Seminar for Korean pastors went viral and requests to hold seminars overseas were continued. Domestic and overseas media also reported with interest in the reality of the fulfillment of the Book of Revelation.

Among the existing churches that have found a way out through the revealed word, the number of churches that are changing their church signboards to Shincheonji Church of Jesus are increased. As of April, 1,314 churches in 40 countries changed their signs to Shincheonji Church of Jesus, and the number of pastors belonging to the churches whose signs were replaced reached 1,572 and the number of church members reached 90,793.

A high school student who attended this Bible Seminar said, “Chairman Lee’s words were very inspirational. Because the importance of understanding the Book of Revelation is so. Because if you understand the Book of Revelation, you can act according to Heaven’s will. Chairman Lee’s words help spread peace and respect other cultures.”

A Christian leader who attended the Bible Seminar also agreed with the importance of the Book of Revelation.
