“Who are 144,000?”

On the 25th, Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Chairman Man-hee Lee) held a seminar on 'Testimony on prophecy and fulfillment of Revelation, God's New Covenant'.

In this lecture, Lee Jung-woo, lecturer of the Peter tribe, testified about the meaning and its reality of Revelation 14.

The title of the lecture was 'Firstfruits Mt. Zion 144,000'. This lecturer Lee introduced that Revelation 14 contrasts with Revelation 13. He said "In Chapter 13, God's chosen people who betrayed received Satan's mark and were destroyed, but Chapter 14 is about the salvation of the chosen people who have been sealed by God and Jesus.”

He added, “It is recorded that Jesus will come to Mount Zion at the Second Coming of Jesus. 144,000 on Mount Zion were those who accepted the Second Coming Jesus.

This lecturer Lee said that Mount Zion in Revelation 14 is not an actual mountain, but a spiritual mountain, which is a church (organization) where people who are with God and Jesus gathered.

He explained that “Its reality is 12 tribes of the sealed spiritual New Israel in Revelation 7. The clue is that the sealed 144,000 appeared in Revelation 7 and Revelation 14."

He said, “144,000 are the firstfruits being reborn by the seed of God and harvested as God’s kings and priests who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus and saved. 

Only these people are blessed to testify the eternal gospel of a new song, the gospel of the fulfilled reality of the prophecy of Revelation.

He also explained about “harvest” in Revelation 14:14 and below.  He said, “In order for an angel to harvest the earth, thrusting and reaping the sickle, seeds must be sown. For this, God promised to sow two kinds of seed through the prophet Jeremiah about 2600 years ago. About 2,000 years ago, at the time of Jesus' First coming, Jesus sowed good seeds and the devil sowed tares in one field as promised. That's how these two seeds grew and reached the time of the harvest."

He emphasized "At the time of harvest, good seeds enter the barn as the children of the kingdom, but the weeds become sons of the devil and are tied up in bundles to be burned.  So, we must ask ourselves whether I am harvested or not."

The lecturer said "Those who are harvested will enter the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, Mount Zion, which is the reality of the barn of heaven, and will be saved. Those who were not harvested and received the mark of the beast will suffer in eternal hell which burn with fire and brimstone like verses 9-11".

In addition, he said “However, it is not that only 144,000 are harvested to be saved.  In Revelation 7, after 144,000 were sealed, a great multitude which no man could number clothed with white robes came out of great tribulation. Now is the time. We are harvesting with the words of testimony."

This lecturer Lee introduced the Internet Zion Mission Center of Shincheonji Church of Jesus as its reality of the harvesting place in Revelation chapter 14 and said, “Even in the non-face-to-face era caused by Corona, the online lectures of the Internet Zion Mission Center are crowded with students who come to seek the Word.
