1. Figurative Pottery= Man

① Scale of God

■ Proverbs 24:12 scale of God → the heart : weights

■ 1 Samuel 2:3 scale of God → deeds : weighs

■ Job 31:6 Honest scale → blameless

※ Court : Law books(A compendium of laws) → sin : weighs(according to deeds)

                     scale(standard) judgment

1) Characteristic : helping instrument, instrument of will

(distinction, protection, guidance)

                      Symbolize governing authority (kingdom, ruling authority)

2) Word

■ Psalms 23:1 shepherd : staff, rod → comfort : I(people)

                            God              ?                         sheep(Ezekiel 34:31)

■ Jeremiah 23:29 hammer(staff, rod) = word of God

■ Isaiah 11:4 his mouth : rod → strike the earth(judgment)

3) Body with the word

■ Isaiah 36:6 Pharaoh king of Egypt = splintered reed of a staff

※ Rod of God : True Shepherd

  Rod of Satan : False Shepherd

4. Figurative Iron Scepter = Authority Over The Nations

■  Parable Scripture

Revelation 2:26-27 Iron Scepter : God → Jesus → The One Who Overcomes

■  John 17:2 God : Authority over all people → Jesus

◆ Conclusion

Depending on the contents in the vessel, the name of the vessel is decided. Like this, we must keep the word of God in our hearts in order to become a vessel of God who can be used for noble purposes, which is a man of God.

And, we should clean a vessel of my heart with the word of God. So, when God who probes our mind (Jeremiah 20:12) measures us, we must be born again as a perfect believer who is spotless and blameless.
