"Family Love Week" to celebrate Family Month in May

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman Man Hee Lee, Shincheonji Church of Jesus) presented love and peace to various parts of the community in celebration of the Family Month in May.

The Thaddeus tribe(Tribe leader Shin Kyu Soo), based in Daegu and Kyungbuk area, held a love sharing event with neighbors and families under the slogan of 'Lovely Tribe Thaddeus' for the month of May.

The Daegu branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer celebrated Parent's Day by giving carnations and serving meals to the seniors of the Daegu Dong-gu Branch of the Korean War Distinguished Service Association and the Daegu Dong-gu Branch of the Defoliation Society.

Shincheonji Volunteer Pohang Branch held an event to visit Juwangsan National Park and the county Cheongsong Yasong Art Museum together with the physically handicapped in cooperation with the Pohang City Branch of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Informatization Association for the Disabled.

On the 21st, 'Janggeumi' made up of women and elderly members of the Shincheonji Thaddeus tribe made hot soup and side dishes with garlic and herbs harvested by themselves.The side dishes prepared on that day were delivered to the saints in poor health or having a hard time making a living.

The Shincheonji Thaddeus tribe held an event of reconciliation through Zoom for families who don't attend church presenting performance. They also distributed gas safety circuit breakers to the elderly members. The Gumi Church spread the good news of love everywhere through 'Visible Radio'.

In particular, from the 1st to the 21st, Thaddeus tribe held the 'Family Love Contest' and online contests for poems, photos, N-line poems, and drawings were conducted for all members.

The content of the contest were ▲ a happy family moment ▲ a poem of gratitude ▲ a message of support ▲ what you want to do with your family when Corona 19 is over. About 1,000 pieces of art were submitted. After a fair evaluation, the Thaddeus tribe will select and award the best works on the 27th.

In addition, ▲Children's party, 'With Mom and Dad' ▲Students's party, 'Oh! Quiz on the Love' ▲Youth's party, 'Dacheong Market Love Bazaar' ▲ Men's party, 'Family, Love, Peace and Healing' concerts were held in various departments and institutions.

'Daldaltoon', about making food and eating happily with your family instead of spending vacation at Hotel, was very popular with the members of the church as well as families who do not attend church.

Shin Kyu Soo, a tribe leader of the Thaddeus tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus said, “To say that we love our parents with sincere thanks and visit them is doing filial piety to God and Jesus, the spiritual parents. We will continue to be the Thaddeus tribe that does filial piety to the love received from God.".

On the other hand, the Thaddeus tribe of the Shincheonji Church of Jesus, based in Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province, participated in the nationwide blood donation 'Life ON' to supply blood, and donated 20 million won to Uljin-gun for forest fire damage. They are practicing Jesus' love by giving a helping hand to the community facing difficulties in the midst of a national crisis.
