Eighty-four churches in Ethiopia changed their church signs 

to “Shincheonji Church of Jesus, 

the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony.”

Recently, 84 churches across ten cities in Ethiopia have changed their church signs to “Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony,” drawing significant attention from the local religious community.

The Peter Tribe of Shincheonji Church announced that it held an “Ethiopia 84 Churches Signboard Replacement Ceremony” on the 10th.

During the ceremony, 84 pastors personally attended to officially declare themselves as members of the Shincheonji Church of Jesus. They also pledged to spread the teachings of the New Covenant Revelation and unite through the word of revelation.

According to Shincheonji Church, this remarkable achievement originated from Pastor Asefa Angeto, president of the Misgana Church Association, who attended the “2nd Special Lecture on Revelation Inviting All Nations” held at Shincheonji Cheongju Church in November last year. Upon returning to Ethiopia, he began conducting Bible seminars across the country.

Pastor Angeto reportedly visited around 100 churches across ten cities, sharing the words of revelation he learned from Shincheonji, which ultimately led to 84 churches officially converting their church signs.

The church representatives in attendance stated, “We have become members of the Shincheonji Church of Jesus, having understood the Word of the New Covenant Revelation. We will spread this message throughout Ethiopia so that all pastors and believers may unite in the truth.”

A representative from the Peter Tribe added, “Currently, 181 pastors in Ethiopia are studying the word of revelation from Shincheonji. We hope that churches worldwide will come to understand that the prophecies of Revelation are being fulfilled today and unite through the Word.”

This change of church signs represents more than a name change. It marks a significant step toward spreading a Word-centered transformation throughout Ethiopia’s Christian community.
