500 Global Religious Leaders Gather in Korea for the “3rd Revelation Special Lecture for All Nations”
- 3rd Revelation Special Lecture for All Nations Led by Shincheonji Church of Jesus -
An unprecedented international event called ‘3rd Revelation Special Lecture for All Nations’ aimed at promoting religious harmony through the Bible took place in Cheongju, South Korea. From October 30 to November 2, the 3rd Revelation Special Lecture, hosted by Shincheonji Church of Jesus, brought together more than 1,000 participants, including 521 religious leaders from 61 countries under the theme of The Path of Understanding Led By the Bible, The Path of Peace Walked Together by Religions.
This event was hosted by Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony(Chairman Man Hee Lee). This event is an international program that seeks dialogue and peace among religions, centered on the prophecies and fulfillment recorded in the book of Revelation, the last chapter of the New Testament.
In particular, this 3rd seminar was held on the largest scale ever and carried the significance of a peace alliance through the Scripture that transcends denominations and religious boundaries. The participants spend four days and three nights learning and discussing the true meaning of Revelation, together seeking the answer to world peace.”
The event featured a range of cultural and educational programs, including: ▲Bible experience sessions ▲A Revelation quiz competition and awards ▲A Revelation-themed animation and sculpture exhibition ▲An honorary Bible teacher appointment ceremony. In particular, the interfaith prayer meeting on the theme of peace, the presentations of peace activities by religious leaders and the regional peace roundtable discussions drew great attention.
A representative from Shincheonji Church commented “The Bible is not just a scripture for one religion, but a universal truth that contains the key to world peace. This seminar is an opportunity to restore the original mission of religion—peace and harmony.”
