First, let's summarize the incidents and characters in Revelation chapter 12. The place of incidents is the heaven. The characters who appeared were three beings: a woman who clothed with the sun, the beast with seven heads and ten horns, red dragon and the child born by the woman who clothed with the sun.
Where is the heaven, the place of the incident? The heaven in Revelation chapter 12 are the same as the heaven in Revelation chapter 13. In Revelation chapter 13, the beast with seven heads and ten horns comes out of the sea and enters the heaven. But, the situation is that the beast is already in the heaven in Revelation chapter 12. Therefore, it is noticed that chapter 13 precedes chapter 12 of Revelation. In Revelation 13:6, the heavens were called the dwelling place. So, the heaven, the site of the Revelation incident does not mean the sky in the air. The dwelling place of the earth means a church. The temple of seven golden lampstands where there are seven stars is the heaven which is the scene of incidents of Revelation chapter 12.
Who is the woman who clothed with the sun? The woman in the Book of Revelation is a parable expression meaning a shepherd. This is because, just like the reason why women receive seeds from men and raise children, the shepherd also receives seeds of God which is the word and gives birth to and nurtures spiritual children, saints. The apostle Paul, who never got married, described himself as a woman who was in the pains of childbirth and breast-fed (Gal 4:19, 1Corinthians 3:2) and described his student Timothy as a son.
What does this mean that the woman clothed with the sun, the moon and the stars? In Genesis chapter 37, the sun, the moon and the stars symbolized the people of Israel. Therefore, A woman who clothed with the sun, the moon and the stars means shepherds who guide the temple of seven gold lampstands, the temple of the chosen people when the book of Revelation is fulfilled. Where is the desert where this woman who fled? Just as a woman was a spiritual woman, a desert where a woman fled will be a spiritual desert. A desert is a large field where there is no water to drink and no people live. In the Book of Deuteronomy and the Book of Amos, water is the Word. So, spiritual desert means a place without spiritual water which is a place without the word of the truth.
In the hymns, there are lyrics that say, "Though many call out, the water of life must be dry. It looks like they convey the word. But, if there is no truth which is the spring of the water of life, the place where the shepherd is becomes a spiritual desert. Furthermore, when thinking of a seminary school today, those seminary schools are spiritual desert because there is no true word. To sum up, the desert in Revelation chapter 12 means a place where there is no word of truth.
Why does a woman who clothed with the sun fled to the desert? In chapter 13 of the Book of Revelation, the shepherd of the demon who is like the beast fights against the saints of the heaven and wins. So, the shepherd of the demon owns the temple of the heaven. Even though the shepherd, the woman who clothed with the sun ruling the temple of the heaven must risk her life to protect her saints, she abandoned her saints and fled. This woman is a shepherd who betrayed. The woman fled into the desert to a be taken care of for 1,260 days. What does that mean? This means that the shepherd of the heaven which betrayed abandoned the saints and learn not the word of God but the false doctrine of foreign in the absence of God's word.
On the other hand, a child born by a woman who clothed with the sun fights the herd of the beast with the blood of a lamb and the word of testimony. Therefore, the first war of the heaven ended with the demon's victory, but the second war ended with the child's victory ending up with the beast being kicked out. So, the kingdom and salvation of God begins. Therefore, no one in the world has been saved without the emergence of a person who wins and fights against this beast. Since this child is a man who would rule the world with a iron scepter in the future. So, this child is the promised shepherd who we must meet.
'Women = desert = church'... The church fled
'Women = Israel' 'desert = Petra'

The title of Chapter 12 of the Book of Revelation says that the woman clothed with the sun and the dragon. Here, of course, this woman means church. Dragons are demon and devil. According to verse 6, this woman fled to the desert. Where is this desert? Think easily. The desert is a church. There is nowhere to flee in this world. We have nowhere to flee when the demon, devil, and dragon attack us. The only safe place is the church.

In the Bible, the church has never been expressed as a woman. The people of Israel are expressed as women married to God. In the ground of the desert which is Petra and among cliff rocks, it hides numerous bible and hundreds of tons of canned food. It can be seen that God has prepared for the people of Israel to take care of for 1,260 days.

The woman is Israel . A child given birth by the woman is Messiah Christ. Israel must flee. So most biblical scholars believe that Petra is the only place Israel can flee. Petra is a mountain like a huge rock. There is a possibility that the Antichrists cannot lay their hands on.
