[1] Within all of creation of spiritual and physical realms, there exist God, Satan, and all creation.

 

[2] God is the Creator of all creation, and He is the one and only God.

 

Jn 4:24 God = Spirit

Gn 1:1 God = Creator of the heavens and the earth (Heb 3:4)

Is 37:16 God = One and only God

‣ God: the only One who created heaven, earth, and all creation

 

[3] The devil is the fallen angel, cherub

 

1) God’s realm

Jos 5:13-14 commander of the army of the heaven (heavenly army) = archangel four living creatures (Rv 4, Eze 1) = four cherubs (Eze 10) = archangels

 

2) The devil’s realm

‣ The devil = fallen angels, angels who betrayed = (fallen archangel + group of the many angels who followed the archangel)

Eze 28

A guardian cherub, who was anointed, was figuratively expressed as the ‘King of Tyre’, who was the king of a foreign land.

◾ God’s cherub ⇒ betrayed, wrongdoings revealed,

◾ The result of betrayal: expelled from the mountain of God.

- Satan: means to fight against and disrupt

- The devil: means to alienate and separate

Is 14:12-15 Figuratively expressed as ‘morning star’ (fallen cherub)

Is 14:13-14 Due to the arrogance and greed in his heart, he tried to make himself the most high like God by standing against God.

‣ The appearance of the devil cannot be found in any other books or religious scriptures, but only in the Bible.

 

[4] All things are creatures made by God.

God has given life through HIs Word ⇒ Creation of all things

‣ God’s creation of all things: great creation that gives life.

 

[5] The lifespan of man was decreased due to sin and eventually led to death.

Gn 2-3 God formed Adam to be a living soul, and was with him.

Jas 1:15 desire ⇒ sin ⇒ death

‣ As God – who is life – left man due to Adam’s sin, the devil – who is death – reigned the world, and man’s life was shortened (Gn 6:1-3, Ps 90:10) and resulted in death.

 

[6] War continued between God and the devil

Spiritual realm	God	↔	the devil
Physical realm	God’s soldiers	↔	soldiers of the devil

 

- era before Jesus (the era of the Old Testament): physical war

- era after Jesus (the era of the New Testament): spiritual war

◾ 66 books of the bible = history of war for 6,000 years between God and the devil.

◾ The last war recorded in the Bible: War in the era of Revelation (Armageddon)

⇒ After Satan is captured, God wins and rests with all things.

Eph 6:10-17 weapon for spiritual war = the word of God
