Shincheonji Bartholomew's Tribe, Online Bible Concert held... "The way to heaven, the answer is in the Bible"
On the 21st, Bartholomew of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle(hereafter, Shincheonji church) held an online Bible seminar about heaven and God in the Bible under the theme of 'Where does God exist?'.
The leader of Bartholomew is Kwak, Jong Ryeol. He held the seminar in consideration of the corona pandemic situation and under strict quarantine rules. Mr. Kwak said "We vaguely thought that God is somewhere in heaven and everywhere. But, the Bible clearly tells us where God exists." In addition, he said "For us, the Bible is a map to find heaven. A guidebook to heaven is the book of Revelation. We must know the words of Revelation that God and Jesus gave for us.".
He explained that "Until now, we vaguely knew we are going to heaven when we die. But, the Bible promised that God would come down to the earth. He dwelled in the Garden of Eden at the time of Adam and in the tent of Moses. After that, as He dwelled in the temple of Jerusalem. He promised the temple and a place for God to dwell at the time of the Second Coming of Jesus.".
An attendee said "I've been curious about the Bible. But, I haven't been able to get a clear answer. I felt relieved because he explained it according to the Bible. I know many people say that Shincheonji is a heresy. After hearing this, I don't understand why they are persecuted."
Another attendee said "He said as we have to look at the map to get to our destination, in order to find a path to heaven, the Bible should be our map to find a path. My misunderstandings and rumors about Shincheonji were cleared up.
Through the sermon, he explained logically about the place where God, the Holy Spirit, comes and dwells. Bartholomew of Shincheonji church will hold flower-up seminars. First seminar is 'Saturdays open seminar' to tell you about the secrets of heaven for pastors and believers who practice faith for a long time. Second seminar is 'Easy Bible Seminar' for those who have just started to believe or have difficulty understanding the Bible. Last seminar is 'Bible Song' to let you know the will and plan of God written in the Bible.
Shincheonji Bible seminars are free. Only in this year from Jan. to July, 78,000 people are taking Free Online Bible Study. And 20,00 people are students at Internet Zion Mission Center.
