Who is the rider on the white horse in Revelation 6?

= The rider who sit on the white horse, Jesus and his spirits / The spirit works with the flesh as the horse =

In Revelation 6, the white horse and the rider appear. The rider does not appear only in Revelation chapter 6. In Revelation 19, there appears to be the rider who sat on the white horse being called 'Faithful and True' and 'KING OF KING'. In Revelation 17:14, the Lamb, Jesus, was King of kings. So, we can realize the rider who sat on the white horse is Jesus.

In the Bible, there are words such as 'horse' and 'chariot' which we can ride on. God created ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands angels. In Hebrews 1:14, these angels are said 'ministering spirits' and in Psalms angels are said to act upon the will of God (Psalm 103:20-21).

In other words, because God is in the position of operating angels and commanding orders, the Bible compares angels to the wind, clouds and horses that God rides on. It means that the angel who works under the command of God is expressed in parables in the Bible. And the rider is God or Jesus and the horse is an angel.

In Revelation 6, the horse(馬) looks singular. But, in Zechariah 6, the hose means the plural, ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands angels (Rev. 5:11). In the spirit world, as God and Jesus operate angels as the horse, spirits operate the body as the horse in this earth (Isaiah 31:3). Like this, in terms of the relationship between the spirit and the body, the spirit works in the flesh. So,  the spirit is expressed as the rider and the body is expressed as the horse.

With this in mind, we need to look at Revelation chapter 6. Let's look at the background of the text. At the Second Coming of Jesus, as promised in Revelation 1, the temple of the tabernacle of the seven golden candlesticks which prepares the way appears. But, in Revelation 2-3, they broke the covenant with God. The letter was sent for them to repent. But, they did not repent so they became judged.

In Revelation 6, when Jesus, the Lamb, opened one of the seals, one of the four living creatures spoke and the white horse and the rider with a bow appeared. Here, the four living creatures refer to the archangel who commands many angels. And around the archangel, there are  ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands angels. When the archangel gives a command, many angels that belong to the archangel act upon the command.

Revelation is an event that appears on this earth. So, one of the four living creatures speaks and the white horse and the rider appear, which means that many angels listen to the command of the archangel and work with people on this earth. So, the rider on the white horse, as in Revelation 19 & 17, is Jesus and many spirits belonging to Jesus.

Here, Jesus is in a position to give a command. Then, the question arises as to how Jesus can hear the command and go. This can be easily understood by considering the logic of the era of warfare with bows riding the horse. Just as a king or prince went out to battle on horseback, gave orders and took the lead toward the enemy, Jesus was referring to the spiritual warfare with many spirits belonging to him. Some argue that the holy Jesus does not wield a weapon like a bow. The bow that Jesus is holding is not a real bow. In the Bible, the word of judgment is compared to a bow (Lamentations 2:2-4, Hebrew 3:9, John 12:48).

Jesus already overcame Satan and the world two thousand years ago. Then, why must he overcome it again in the era of Revelation? It means that Jesus fought and overcame the devil that rules the world at the First Coming(John 16:33), and he wants to fight and overcome the devil at the Second Coming of Jesus (Rev 17:14). To summarize, the text says that  the tent of seven golden candlesticks that appeared in the fulfillment of the Book of Revelation abandoned the word and betrayed, and Jesus and the spirits belonging to him judge them with the words working with people on this earth as the horse. God hid the secrets of the kingdom of heaven in parables. And, today, all parables are being clearly testified.

=Antichrist posing Jesus / He never fights with a bow =

[Existing denomination Full Gospel Church Pastor A]

The seven-year tribulation has already begun. Jesus is opening the seal in heaven. If Jesus rides a white horse and tries to win and win belatedly on this earth, it is not right logically nor timewise. The reason is that the church is already in heaven at this time, and Jesus is never the one who fights with a bow.

In addition, in Revelation 19:12, Jesus wore many crowns. But, the rider wore a crown. So, the rider can not be Jesus.

And Jesus already overcame once. So, he doesn't fight again. Then, who is the rider? He is the Antichrist who pretends to be Jesus Christ falsely claiming to be the Messiah who brings peace and prosperity to the world. Here if you look at the Antichrist, he has only a bow and no arrows. This indicates that he is only threatening and cannot actually shoot a bow.

In the future, the Antichrist has amazing diplomatic and political skills. So, he gets the white horse of victory and the crown of glory meaning the position of the leader. But, he does not make a war and take things away.

  1. It’s a miracle to think I might be living at a time when the entire Bible - Revelation included - is being explained plainly. God must really want people to open their hearts and listen❤️
