What is the new wine and the new wineskin for olive oil?

On the 21st, the 14th lecture of Testimony on the Parables of the Secrets of Heaven and Their True Meanings Seminar held by the Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Chairman  Man Hee Lee) was held for pastors, seminarians, and church members around the world. 

On the 17th, lecturer Koo Young Kang of the Peter tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus gave a lecture on the subject of new wine, new wineskins, and olive oil. 

To understand the meaning of wine, we must first know the meaning of the vine. Lecturer Kang explained, “In John 15:1, Jesus referred to himself as a  grapevine, so the spiritual grapevine is the shepherd (people). Like wine comes from a grape vine, the words come from a shepherd is the wine."

As repeated in the previous lectures, there are always two kinds which is God's belonging and Satan's belonging in the book of prophecies in the Bible. Let's look at God's wine first 

According to lecturer Kang, the wine of God is divided into old wine and new wine. If we break it down by age, the old wine at the First Coming about 2,000 years ago is the “law of Moses” and the new wine is “the new revelation that Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament delivered by Jesus. Today, at the Second Coming, the reality of the old wine and the new wine is 'the gospel of the First Coming that fulfilled the Old Testament' and 'the new revelation that fulfilled the New Testament'."  

On the other hand, 'bad wine' and 'wine of fornication' in the Bible are said to be Satan's wine. Lecturer Kang said, “The wine of Satan at the First Coming is untruth spit out by the Scribes and Pharisees (false shepherds). At the Second Coming, the wine of fornication is the commentary which has thoughts and explanations of men given by the prostitute(false shepherd) who is the head of destroyer that deceived all nations in the book of Revelation."

In addition, he also emphasized, “God gave this word to tell us about Satan’s wine, which kills the soul if we drink it. The food that we must eat to be saved is a new wine, which is the new open word that fulfilled the New Testament."

If wine is the word, what is the wineskins? Lecturer Kang said, “The wineskins to hold wine are the heart of the person who holds the word. Like the saying, "You have to pour new wine into new wineskins, when you listen to the word of new revelation, you need to listen to it with a new heart. (If not) if your heart is like old wineskin, the wine will burst the skin."

He also explained about olive oil. Lecturer Kang said, “Olive oil comes out of the olive tree. The two witnesses in Revelation 11 are expressed as two olive trees. Therefore, the words of the witnesses (spiritual olive trees) who have seen and heard everything on the spot where the events of the book of Revelation are fulfilled become olive oil.” 

He added the reason why olive oil is important saying “Among the ten virgins in Matthew 25, only five who have prepared enough oil can light their lamps could enter the kingdom of heaven meeting the Second Coming Lord."

Lastly, he said, “Today, I hope that you meet the promised pastor who gives you new wine and olive oil, fill you with wine and oil in new wineskins. So, you can receive Jesus, who is the bridegroom, and become all children of the kingdom of heaven.”
