Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Chairman Man Hee Lee) held the 21st lecture on the 'Testimony on the Parables of the Secrets of Heaven and Their True Meanings' on the 17th. 

"Immediately after the distress of those days " 'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'

This is Matthew 24:29 in the New Testament. When looking at it literally, it is easy to misunderstand that it is predicting the 'end of the earth'. In fact, many Christians believe in eschatology. In order to resolve this misunderstanding, we must understand the hidden meanings of heaven, earth, sun, moon, and stars in the Bible. 

Lecturer Bae Ji Woong of the Matthias tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus gave a lecture on the subject of the figurative heaven‧earth, sun, moon, and stars, lesson 21. 

First, lecturer Bae pointed out that there are heaven, earth, sun, moon, and stars of the natural world, that is the physical world, and heaven, earth, sun, moon, and stars of the spiritual world in the Bible. 

In addition, through Genesis 37:9~11, he explained the meaning of heaven and sun, moon, and stars. According to the lecture, since Jacob's family (chosen people) are the sun, moon, and stars, the tent of the chosen people where God is with them becomes heaven. He explained that the shepherd who preaches the word like a light among the chosen people is the 'sun' in heaven, the evangelist who receives the word from the shepherd and delivers, is the 'moon', and many saints are the 'star'. 

He also testified about the figurative earth. If the figurative heaven is 'the tent of the chosen people', the figurative earth becomes 'people belonging to the tent'. Lecturer Bae explained the relationship between heaven and earth, comparing it to a physical principle. He said, “Just as the earth gains life receiving light and rain from heaven, the figurative earth gains life receiving the words like light and rain from the heavenly tabernacle.” 

Secondly, in Matthew 24:29-31, he explained the true meaning of prophecy that is 'After sun, moon and stars fall from the sky, Jesus comes and gathers his elect from the four winds'. Lecturer Bae pointed out, “If the physical sun, moon, and stars fall on the earth, the earth and the people in the world will disappear. If so, how will Jesus come after and gather those who have his elect from the four winds?"

He said, “The sun, moon, and stars becoming darkening and falling means that the word like light does not come from the shepherds, evangelists, and saints belonging to heaven, meaning that they are cast out of God’s belonging.” 

This prophecy also appears in the book of Revelation. Lecturer Bae explained that 'The first heaven and the first earth passed away and a new heaven and a new earth is created' in Revelation 21 means 'Since the tents and saints of the chosen people whom God was with are sinned and betrayed, after God judged them, God created a new tabernacle and gathered new saints to be with.

He continued, “The new heaven and new earth are Shin Cheon Shin Ji (新天新地) in Chinese character, and its abbreviation is Shincheonji. Shincheonji 12 tribes is a place of salvation where God is with when the book of Revelation is fulfilled, Mount Zion, where God, Jesus and the sealed 144,000 of the 12 tribes are with and the mountain where we must flee to at the Second Coming of the Lord in Revelation 14.” 

Lastly, he said, “I pray that you will go to the new heaven and new earth that was created after the end of the traditional church era and become children of heaven".
