Elementary Teachings and the Place of Maturity

◼ Heb. 5:12-14

12.  In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! 13.  Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14.  But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

ㆍ Elementary teaching = Like milk ⇒ an infant

ㆍ Teaching of righteousness = Solid food ⇒ Mature adults

◾Answer to elementary teachings and mature teachings at the time of second coming

ㆍ Elementary teachings : Adam to the time of Revelation’s fulfillment

ㆍ Mature teachings of perfection : a reality to the fulfillment of the prophecies of Revelation

◾The reason why the reality of Revelation become the way of perfection?

1. Time of Old Testament

ㆍ Jer. 31:22 promise to create new thing

① To sow two kinds of seeds (Jer. 31:27)

② To establish the new covenant(Jer. 31:31)

2. Time of First Coming

ㆍ Matt. 13:24-30, 37-39 two types of seeds sown

ㆍ Lk. 22:14-20 establish a new covenant to fulfill(=Revelation)

3. Time of second coming

ㆍ Come to harvest those born of God’s seed(Rev. 14)

ㆍ To complete creation of a new thing which is to create new heaven and new earth(Rev. 21)

※ God’s purpose

① To create new kingdom new people(new heaven new earth) 12 tribes

② Capture and imprison the dragon(devil)

◾ Time to understand the meaning of Revelation : time for prophecies of Revelation fulfilled

① Before the prophecies fulfill : only understand in part ⇒ elementary teachings

② when the fulfilled reality of prophecy appear 

◼ Whom can we learn about the perfect mature teaching?

① Through the promised shepherd whom God has chosen

② Amos. 3:7 Secret of God(Secrets to heaven) → Promised shepherd

③ Promised shepherd : Testify to what was seen and heard

ㆍ Rev. 1:1 Route in which Revelation is conveyed

Rev. 5(God) → Rev. 6, 8(Jesus) → Rev. 10(Angel) → Rev. 10(New John) → 12 tribes 144,000 and a great multitude in white

1.  Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, 2.  instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3.  And God permitting, we will do so.

◼ Where is the place of perfection at the time of second coming?

① A place created according to Revelation

② A place testifying to the reality of the fulfillment of Revelation

◼ Difference between elementary teaching and mature teaching of perfection

Ex) The tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil appeared in Revelation

ㆍ Rev. 22:1-2 Tree of life where the holy city new Jerusalem comes down upon

◼ About the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil

John 15:1-5 God and 12 disciples : the tree of life

Dan. 4:20-22 Babylon king : the tree of the knowledge of good and evil

◼ The tree of life at the second coming

: Overcomer and Shincheonji 12 tribes (Rev. 2-3, Rev. 7, Rev. 22)

ㆍ Fruit of 12 branches of the tree of life = Evangelized saints of 12 tribes of Shincheonji

ㆍ Leaves of the tree of life = Evangelists

◼ The tree of the knowledge of good and evil at the 

: The prostitute of Babylon and its organization(Rev. 17-18, Deut. 32:32-33)

ㆍ Fruit of the tree of good and evil : wine of adulteries (False doctrines, Commentaries)

◼ Elementary teaching and the mature teaching at the time of second coming

① Elementary teaching : Do not know the meaning of two kinds of trees nor its realities(Traditional church)

② The mature teaching : Do know the meaning of two kinds of trees and its realities(Shincheonji Church of Jesus)

◼ Heb. 6:4-8

4.  It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5.  who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, 6.  if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, becauseto their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. 7.  Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. 8.  But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.

① Coming age(來世) : When Revelation is fulfilled

② The powers of the coming age : To fulfill Revelation

① Those who receive God’s blessing = Lk 8:15 good soil

② Those who receive plague from God = 2 Pet. 2:20-22, Matt. 7:6 Like dogs and pigs

▎ Conclusion

1. Those who are in elementary teachings must find the promised shepherd of the New Testament and learn the word of Revelation since they do not know it yet. 

2. The place of perfection at the second coming of Christ is a place created according to the promises of Revelation. It is a place where they are harvested and sealed in God’s new kingdom and new people, Shincheonji 12 tribes. 

Is this place God and heaven comes down to to dwell upon  as such God’s will and purpose fulfills? Thus, let’s unite as one with Shincheonji, the place of perfection carry out a life of faith according to the promises and become a perfect believer. 

The title for the next lesson is intermediate lesson 24; God’s purpose, the creation, the recreation of heaven and earth. Since that instructor teaches way better than myself, please look forward to that lecture.
