[Shincheonji, Doctrine Comparison] Revelation 2 What is the white stone that Jesus gives?

"The Word of Judgment and the One Who Received the Word of Judgment, Jesus at the First Coming, to become a 'Living Stone' and judge False Shepherds"

[Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony]

Jesus said in Revelation 2:17 that he would give a white stone to only one person who is called 'the one who overcomes'. In addition, a new name written on a white stone is known only to him who receives it.

Stones are hard and have the character of breaking something when struck. By comparing these characters, stones are likened to tools or judgers.

About 3,500 years ago, Moses received the two stone tablets on which the law was written (Exodus 24:12), and Moses ruled and judged Israel with the stone tablets, that is, the law. After that, the tablets of stone came to symbolize the law of God.

In Daniel 2, it is said that the 'the vision of the rock cut out of a mountain' strikes down and destroys the idols of the Gentile Babylon and sets up a nation that will never be destroyed. At the First Coming, when the prophecies were fulfilled, Jesus, the reality of the 'the vision of the rock', called himself a living stone (1 Pet. 2:4), and in John 12:48, Jesus said that he would judge people at the last day. From this point of view, the rock means judgment.

In Matthew 21, Jesus said to the Scribes and Pharisees, the false shepherds of the day, "He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed." This is the content of judging the false shepherd of the time of the First Coming with the word (law) by comparing Jesus himself, the judger with God's law engraved on his heart, to a stone (Mt 21:42-44).

The white stone promised to give to the one who overcomes in the text (Rv. 2:17) is the stone that Jesus received from God, and the one who overcomes who receives the white stone judges with the law of this word (Jn 12:48). Just as Jesus, who received God's law, became a 'living stone', the one who overcomes at the Second Coming will receive a white stone from Jesus so that the overcomer who received authority to execute judgment became a 'living stone'.

Hereby, as the time of Jesus 2000 years ago, the overcomer who received the white stone today judges the false pastors of spiritual Babylon, the destroyers of the Book of Revelation, with the Word and create the 12 tribes of Shincheonji, the eternal kingdom of God. In summary, the white stone represents the word of judgment and the person who received the word of judgment.

"It is a ticket to the wedding banquet, and only those who have white stones are empowered for the banquet.”

[Existing denomination Presbyterian Church A pastor]

First of all, the white stone is a tool for judges to judge. The judge uses this white stone when making a result, declaring freedom or declaring victory. White stones are used to declare winning.

Another use is that it is a ticket to enter the banquet. Authority is given to only those with white stones for the banquet. This is the purpose of the white stone. Then, we are the beings who have to enter the banquet with Jesus Christ, the future bridegroom. What should we do? We must have a white stone.

What is the meaning of this white stone? We are the ones who already have the white stone. Who gave that guarantee? Jesus Christ gave that guarantee. What is engraved on the white stone? There is a new name written on it, and no one knows except the one who receives it.

In other words, only we, the bride, know the name of Jesus Christ. He made it known through revelation. We have to believe.
