Shincheonji Volunteer Gumi Branch held a signboard hanging ceremony of the '10th Wall Painting Stories with hope' at the Gumi Gil Senior Center.
'Wall Painting Stories with hope' is one of the three major projects of the Shincheonji Volunteer, and is a volunteer work of 'Mural Painting'.
contains the meaning of 'let's bring our hearts together' for the development of the local community by breaking down the walls of numerous conflicts that divide our society.
About 150 volunteers from the Gumi branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer participated in the mural painting on the 50m wall of the Gumi Gil Senior Center for 15 days.
Gumi regional organizations, journalists and welfare center officials attended at the signboard hanging ceremony and appreciation plaque was given to Shincheonji Volunteer.
Mr. Kim who participated at the ceremony said, "If you clean the rough walls and fill in the cracks and paint, your hatred for each other disappears like snow. Let's all be one in the spirit of peace that we respect and care for each other."
In particular, Pohang, Gyeongju and Andong of Shincheonji Volunteer conducted mural painting containing message of harmony and communication.
Branch manager of Shincheonji Volunteer Gumi branch emphasized “The sky is always giving us light, rain and air which is precious. We'll be a volunteer group that generously distributes the spirit learned from heaven."
