[Shincheonji Compare Bible Doctrine] What does Revelation 1:7 mean that Jesus is coming on the clouds?

[Shincheonji Compare Bible Doctrine]

What does Revelation 1:7 mean that

Jesus is coming on the clouds?

"Coming as the Spirit, not being able to see, Jesus comes to the overcomer as the Spirit"

[Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of Tabernacle of the Testimony]

The Bible records that when Jesus comes again, he will come with the clouds. Is he coming riding the clouds in the sky? It is a scientific fact that even children know that a cloud cannot be ridden because it is made up of numerous water droplets. Coming with the clouds is a parable meaning that he comes with countless angels.

In order to welcome Jesus who comes with the cloud today, we must realize how God came who came with the cloud at the first coming. In Isaiah 19, there is a prophecy that God will come with a swift cloud. The word of this prophecy was fulfilled by God's descending on Jesus at the first coming.

The believers at the first coming, who eagerly hoped that the words of this prophecy would come true and even learned the Word, did not recognize Jesus who was with God and crucified Him even though God descended on the earth.

Why did they commit? At the first coming, believers only read the words of the prophets literally and believed that God would come openly with the physical clouds of the sky. However, as in Matthew 3:16, God came to Jesus invisibly as a dove-like-Holy Spirit, not a physical cloud. Believers who did not believe this fact did not fully receive God and Jesus.

The cloud in the Bible plays a role of invisibility. So, God who came with the cloud could not be seen with the naked eye (Job 22:14, Matthew 17:4, Luke 9:34, Acts 1:9).

In Acts 1, it is recorded that just like Jesus was taken up into the sky, hidden by a cloud, he will come back out of sight hidden by a cloud when he comes back. Also, in Luke 17, it is written that we will not see it when we long to see (Luke 17:22-24).

Like this, we can realize that Jesus, who comes with the clouds, does not come so we can see it with the naked eye.

If Jesus comes invisibly, where should we look and wait for Jesus? In the book of Revelation, it is recorded that when and where Jesus comes again and what he does. Today, let's find out about Jesus who will come again through the reality fulfilled in the book of Revelation.

When will Jesus come? In 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, God's blueprint for the salvation of God's people is recorded. Before the salvation of Jesus comes, the events of betrayal and destruction happen first (2 Thessalonians 2:1~3). This means that in Matthew 24:29, the sun, moon and star are darkened and fallen. And, in 1 Thessalonians  5:2, is it recorded that he will come like a thief.

These words refer to the events in which the seven shepherds and saints of the Temple of the Tabernacle, who made a covenant with God, betrayed just like the sun, moon and star, the shepherds and saints belong to God, betrayed and fell from heaven (Rev. 1:20, Rev. 6:12-16). As this seven shepherds betrayed, they are destroyed by the Nicolaitans, the organization of Satan with the untruth. At the time of betrayal and destruction when the light of the word disappears, Jesus does the work of salvation as a spirit coming like a thief.

Where does Jesus come? Jesus' work of salvation begins with the messenger Jesus sent for the churches in Revelation 22:16. This messenger sends a letter urging repentance to the tent of the chosen people who betrayed, and he fights against Satan's untruth and overcomes them with the blood of Jesus and the words of testimony. The messenger of Jesus is the one who overcomes in Revelation 3:12. Jesus comes to this overcomer.

Then, what did Jesus come to this overcomer to fulfill today? He comes to crate a new nation and new people in Revelation 7, 21 judging the nation and its people who betrayed and are destroyed.

A new nation and new people is be created as 12 tribes through the overcomer who is with Jesus. These 12 tribes are the people who Jesus, who came with the clouds in Matt. 24, gathers from the east and west and north and south and are the harvested first fruits in Revelation 14. They are 144,000 who are a kingdom and priests purchased with the blood of Jesus and the multitude in white who are washed in the blood of Jesus. They are to become a new kingdom and new people of God. Like this, the blood of Jesus is not for the betrayal and destroyer, but for the new kingdom and new people of God today. In the end, we need to realize that Jesus' return is for the creation of a new kingdom and new people of God.

In summary, the words that Jesus comes with the clouds mean that just as God came to Jesus as the Holy Spirit like a dove at the first coming, Jesus also comes invisibly to an overcomer as a spirit.

"Among shouts and trumpet sounds shaking heaven and earth, he comes openly riding a physical cloud"

Let's read Revelation 1:7 together. Look, he is coming with the clouds, Hallelujah.

Clouds are just clouds. The book of Revelation is difficult to see because it is hidden by this cloud. (Therefore) Minimal interpretation is necessary. Why is it so important? We are not the ones who need to prepare the cloud. If he says he is coming with clouds, he is coming.

The Lord comes openly with the clouds. He does not come in secret, but with a loud shout and the sound of a trumpet in a glory so heaven and earth shake.
