According to Matthew 24:40, when the time of the Lord's Second Coming comes, one of the two people in the field is taken to heaven, and the other is left in the field. Let's see what kind of field this is and who these two people are. 

The words of Matthew 24 are Jesus' answer to the disciples who asked about the end of the world, the time of the Lord's return. In verse 3, there is a scene where the disciples ask what the sign of the Lord's coming and the end of the world is. The answer to this question is Matthew 24. These words are prophecies that will be fulfilled today, and believers who hope for heaven must understand. 

First, he said, watch out that no one deceives you, and he said that War, famine, and earthquakes will occur at the beginning of a disaster at the time of the end. This war is not a physical war, but a spiritual war between God's kingdom, spiritual Jerusalem, and Satan's kingdom, spiritual Babylon which is the war of authority and doctrine. 

As a result of this spiritual war, God's chosen people, spiritual Jerusalem, betrayed and be defeated. In verses 15-16, it is said that when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,', and God's people must flee to the mountains at that time. This mountain is Mount Zion, the place of salvation where God and Jesus will come in the last days. 

In verses 29-31, it is said that after the people of Jerusalem, like the sun, moon and stars were destroyed being darkened and fell, Jesus sent his angels to harvest the chosen ones from the four winds to Mount Zion by blowing the trumpets.

In Matthew 24:40, it prophesied that at the time of harvest between two believers in the field, the word of faith there will be those who realize the revealed word by a shepherd after God's own heart on Mount Zion and be harvested to Mount Zion and those who do not realize and disobey ending up with being left in the field. 

Likewise, the prophecy of the results of the two believers is also written in Matthew 13. 

God prophesied that he would sow two seeds in Jeremiah 31 about 2,600 years ago, and about 600 years later, God, who promised, sowed the good seed, the word of God, in the field of Jesus, the church of Jesus, through Jesus at the first coming as the word of Matthew 13 and the devil sowed the seeds of the devil, the wheat, on the church of Jesus, a field where Jesus sowed, through Scribes and Pharisees who is the shepherds of Judaism.

In this way, two seeds were sown in one field, the Church of Jesus, and as a result, there were two kinds of children in the world of faith. These are the two men in the field written in Matthew 24:40. 

Jesus promised that at the end of the age, the harvest time, he would send a harvester and tie the sons of the devil, born of weeds, in bundles to be burned first, and that the wheat born of God's seed would be harvested into the barn of heaven. 

Where to go to harvest? You must go to the field where the seed has been sown. The field where good seeds of Jesus are sown is the church of Jesus. You have to go there to harvest. Not everyone in the Church of Jesus is harvested. Only those born of God's seed are being harvested because there are two seeds mixed together. So one will be taken and the other left.

In the Book of Revelation, which promises Lord's return, in Revelation 6, heaven of previous era and the sun, moon and stars which is the chosen people of spiritual Israel is destroyed and faced the end due to betrayal. In Revelation 14 and 7, those born of God's seed are harvested, sealed and 144,000, the firstfruits, are gathered in the barn, Mount Zion and create spiritual new Israel 12 tribes that is God's new kingdom and new people. The promised harvest time in the Bible is today. The promise of the Bible is being fulfilled in this era.

You should think about whether you are taken to Mount Zion by being harvested or left in the field. Depending on whether you are harvested or left in the field, the Son of God and the Son of the Devil are distinguished. Through this, he made us know the people of God's kingdom and the people of the devil's nation. Even if the devil's children and the devil's shepherds don't believe this fact and interfere the work of the harvest calling for "No harvesters", God's promise cannot be broken and absolute. So, we will be judged as the word.

In Matthew 24:40, it says "Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left." No, what does this mean?

We are in the field together. It's not that we are saved or not saved in the field together. There are people who have been saved or not saved in the field together. So it doesn't mean that you are saved when you are in the field.

Where is that field in today's terms? It's a job. It means that people who go to work and get saved are not saved, and those who go to work do not receive salvation and only those who do not go to work and wait for the Second Coming are not saved. Where is this field? It's a job. When you are at work, you are saved or not. It doesn't mean that those who go to work are not saved and those who do not go to work waiting for Lord's second coming are saved.
