Shincheonji church regarding refusal to enter Treatment center and disturbance at Daegu Medical Center

Patient A is a member of Women's Association of Shincheonji Daegu Church and has been diagnosed as having a history of schizophrenia. According to patient A's son, patient A was diagnosed as corona twice and was self-isolated waiting to enter treatment center. Patient A was transferred to Kyung Book National University treatment center pm 8th of Feb. at 6:30PM.

However, when patient A refused to enter treatment center and caused a commotion, Daegu City found out that patient A suffered from schizophrenia as underlying disease. Since forced hospitalization is not allowed, patient A was transferred back to Daegu Medical Center again with the consent of her guardian. And it was confirmed that a disturbance occurred in the process of transferring patient A to the hospital.

According to son's testimony, 10 years ago patient A had been treated with schizophrenia at two different mental hospitals in Daegu. Patient A showed abnormal symptoms shortly after Corona19 crisis such as sleeplessness for 3-4 days, inability to control herself and driveling.

schizophrenia is mental disorders which shows hallucinations, delusions, behavioral disorders and anxiety. This sudden disturbance occurred because she couldn't even recognize herself. Shincheonji Daegu church didn't know that the congregant had schizophrenia which was diagnosed 10 years ago and found out the fact from her son this time. On behalf of Shincheonji church, we are sorry to worry the people. Patients are subject who need treatment and not subject to criticism. I sincerely ask for your mercy.
