"Be born again of water and the Spirit... Do you know the true meaning?"
On the 7th, Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Chairman Man Hee Lee) held the 'Testimony on the Parables of the Secrets of Heaven and Their True Meanings' to testify the true meaning of the parable beyond denominations and doctrines.
On the 3rd, lecturer Soo Young Kim of the Matthias tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus gave a lecture lesson 10 on the subject of figurative water, spring, and river.
Lecturer Kim said "In the Bible, there are material (physical) waters, springs, and rivers and spiritual waters, springs, and rivers. Lecturer Kim said, “You have to be born again of water and the Holy Spirit to enter the kingdom of heaven. In order to enter the kingdom of heaven, you must know the secret of heaven which is the true meaning of water."
Lecturer Kim explained the true meaning of spiritual water while talking about the physical characteristics of water. Lecturer Kim said, “Just as living creatures receive life through the rain from the sky, our souls also receive life through the words of God who is in heaven. So, water in the Bible means the word of God."
He also said, “Just as water cleanses the man's body, Jesus cleansed the souls of his disciples with the words which are compared to water. The truth, the word of God cleanses the soul."
Lecturer Kim said "There is not only God's water but also Satan's water in the Bible. The untruth that defiles and kills our soul is Satan's water. When God's Word is mixed with men's teachings, those words become Satan's untruth that is a lie."
In Zechariah 13:1, there is a verse saying, 'A fountain will be opened to cleanse them from sin and impurity'. Lecturer Kim explained the figurative spring saying "A spring comes out of the ground as absorbing rainwater from the sky. The shepherd who receives the water of the word like rain given by God in heaven and the temple who deliver the word on earth become spiritual springs.”
According to lecturer Kim, the reality of the spiritual spring at the first coming is Jesus, and the spiritual spring is also divided into two types: the fountain of God, which gives life, and the fountain of Satan, which kills the soul. Lecturer Kim emphasized, “If you are a believer who hopes for heaven and eternal life, you must seek the spring of the water of life under the guidance of the Lamb.”
Finally, he explained a spiritual river disguised as a physical river. Lecturer Kim said, “Just as the path where water flows becomes a physical river, the path which the Word is delivered through is a spiritual river. The heart of disciples and evangelist who receive the word from the shepherd and convey become the spiritual river. Also, he mentioned the word of Revelation saying "From the throne of God and of the Lamb (Jesus), the water of life flows. Those who realize the words that are flowed from the throne can enter the kingdom of heaven."
Lecturer Kim said, “If you wish for heaven and eternal life, I pray that you will hear the word of the water of life when the book of Revelation is fulfilled and be guided by the spring of the water of life and enter the kingdom of heaven.” In addition, he urged them to become one in the Word and God through a seminar that testifies to parables and reality, which are the secrets of heaven.
