Shincheonji Daejeon Church delivers carnations
to senior citizens' homes on Parents' Day
Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony Daejeon Church (Leader Jang Bang Sik) expressed his gratitude to the local elders on the occasion of '50th Parent's Day'.
On the 6th, Shincheonji Daejeon Church delivered carnations and fruits to 16 senior centers of the Korean Senior Association.
Head pastor Jang Bang Sik said, “Filial duty is the basis of one hundred actions and it is the most important virtue. We will do our best to be an example to the local community by practicing courtesy and filial duty to God and the elderly in the neighborhood.”
Kim Seok Jung, president of the Tanbang and Yongmun branch of the Daejeon Seo-gu branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association, expressed his gratitude saying “I am grateful for the interest in Parent’s Day at the Shincheonji Church even though it has only been a few days since the elderly center opened due to Corona 19. We also used masks that you donated to the senior citizen center last year”.
