"What mountain to flee to when war breaks out?”

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Chairman Man Hee Lee) held the twentieth lecture on the 14th, revealing the hidden meaning of the prophecies of the New Testament through the 'The Seminar of Testimony on the Parables of the Secrets of Heaven and Their True Meanings', amid a enthusiastic response from the global religious community. 

Lecturer Simon Kim of the Matthew tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus gave a lecture on the topic of the figurative JJerusalem Babylon and war.

Biblical history records the war between Jerusalem and Babylon. In this lecture, he explained the war between the spiritual Jerusalem and Babylon under the guise of the physical war. 

According to the lecture, the first thing to know is that the names of countries, places, and people in the history of prophets are likened to the reality that will appear in the future. So, when the prophecy is fulfilled, we should realize the reality of parables, not the name itself.

Let's look at the war between Jerusalem and Babylon in the book of Revelation. Jerusalem in the book of Revelation is compared to the church of God's chosen people, and Babylon is compared to the church of foreign spirits belonging to Satan. Also, the war between these two denominations is a spiritual 'war of doctrine', not a physical war fought with real guns and swords. 

Lecturer Kim said, “Since wars have continued since human history, the standard of the last days becomes ambiguous if we interpret the war in the Book of Revelation as a physical war.” Also, by quoting Eph. 6:11~12 and 17, he emphasized once again that the war in the book of Revelation is not a physical war, but a spiritual war, saying 'It said our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but the struggle of doctrine. So, we should take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.' 

In addition, he explained the war in the book of Revelation divided into the first and second war. As the seven angels of the tabernacle of heaven betrayed in the first war, they were defeated by the beast that came up from the sea in Revelation 13 and the nations collapsed. However, in the second war, the overcomer who saw and heard this event fought and overcame Babylon, the destroyer. So, the eternal kingdom of God is established. This country is the re-created New Jerusalem. 

Also at this time, the true shepherd of God fights with the weapon that is the truth, and the shepherd of Satan fights with the weapon that is the untruth, which is lies. 

Instructor Kim also testified about the 'place of salvation', a mountain to flee when war broke out. He said, “The place of salvation in Noah’s time was Noah’s ark, and at the time of the Lord’s return, the place of salvation is Mount Zion in Revelation 14. This place is where 12 tribes are created in Revelation 7 and the temple, that is, tabernacle of the Testimony in Revelation 15, Shincheonji, that is a new heaven and a new earth where the spiritual Holy City, the new Jerusalem comes down.'

He continued, “In Revelation 21:4, there will be no more death, mourning, crying, or pain. I hope that everyone receives this promised blessing together in the new heaven and new earth, Shincheonji, the place of salvation.” 

Lastly, he said, “The reason why Shincheonji Church of Jesus can clearly testify the parable of heaven today is because the reality of parables has appeared. I hope everyone receives the blessings of heaven receiving the testimony of parables and its realities."
